Yes. Hireoo connects through Google OAuth with a send-only permission: it can send applications as you, and nothing else. It cannot read your inbox, your contacts or any other mail, and it never sees your password. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Your résumé is stored securely and used only for your own job search: to match roles, write your cover letters, score your résumé and go out as the attachment on the applications you choose to send. It is never sold.

The emails go out from your own Gmail address, sit in your Sent folder, and are written from your résumé and the specific job post. They read like a considered, personal email — because that is what they are.

What's needed to search and apply: your account details, your preferences and memory, your résumé, your cover letter settings and the applications you send, plus basic usage analytics. Hireoo never sells your data, and shares it only with the services that run the product — such as the AI providers that write your letters and Gmail, which sends them — as the Privacy Policy describes.
