## What Hireoo is

Hireoo is an AI job agent for job seekers in India, used through a chat at https://www.hireoo.in. Instead of filters and forms, you describe the job you want in a sentence — for example "Frontend developer jobs in Noida, 2 years experience", "Pune mein Java developer ki job, 3–5 saal experience", "Fresher data analyst jobs in Bangalore" or "Mumbai mein digital marketing ki job, fresher ke liye" — and the agent does the searching and the applying. Hireoo understands requests in English or Hinglish (Hindi typed in Roman script) and replies in the same language. The same chat takes other requests too, such as "Check my resume score" or "Is hafte maine kahan apply kiya?" (where did I apply this week?). It asks one quick question at a time when it needs more (role, city, experience, remote or hybrid). It runs in the browser on a laptop or phone; there is nothing to install and no browser extension.

## How it works, step by step

1. Talk. Describe the job you want in the chat. Sign up with Google or email, upload your resume (PDF or DOCX) and connect Gmail once.
2. Hireoo searches. It searches fresh hiring posts and company openings from across the web every day, and ranks every job against your resume and preferences. Each match shows a fit percentage and a "Why?" explanation — what matched and what is missing. Exact matches come first, then close matches, then broader ones; location is respected first. The top three picks appear in the chat and the full list in a results panel. "Search more" brings fresh jobs you have not seen. Jobs you have already applied to are never shown to you again.
3. It applies for you. Hireoo finds the recruiter's or HR's email in the hiring post, writes a cover letter and an email for that specific job, attaches your resume as you uploaded it, and sends the application from your own Gmail address. You review the cover letter once, on your first application; after that, applying is one tap. You can apply to one job, or auto-apply to a whole batch. Batches keep sending in the background even if you close the tab: the first applications go out right away and the rest are spaced out naturally.
4. See every send. The Applications list shows every application — what was sent, to whom and when. A send that failed can be retried. The sent email is also in your Gmail Sent folder. Recruiters reply to you directly in Gmail.

## Gmail and privacy

- Hireoo connects to Gmail through Google sign-in with send-only access. It can send email as you and nothing else: it cannot read your inbox, your contacts or any other mail, and it never sees your password.
- Because access is send-only, Hireoo does not track replies, does not read responses and does not send follow-up emails. Follow-ups are yours to send.

## Memory

Hireoo remembers your job-search preferences across chats — roles, locations, experience, work mode, and anything you asked it to leave out (for example staffing agencies). Each new search starts from what it remembers. One page, "What Hireoo knows", shows all of it: add or remove anything (removed stays removed), and every change also works from the chat.

## Cover letters

A cover letter and email are written for every job. Four styles:
- Warm & Personal (default, every plan): a friendly letter about the role and the company, built on your skills.
- Tailored to the Job (every plan): the posting's top needs, each answered with your matching skills.
- Resume Specific (Pro): written from your two most recent roles, matched to the job.
- Custom Template (Pro): your own letter, sent exactly as you write it, with the company, role and recruiter filled in.

## Resume tools

- Upload a resume as PDF or DOCX.
- ATS-style resume score with specific findings: what to add, remove or adjust in each section. Starter: 1 analysis a month. Pro: unlimited.
- Pro: AI rewrite of the whole resume into a new, clean version that aims for one page, with a before/after comparison. The original is never replaced.

## Other features

- Saved jobs: save a job now, apply later, or remove it.
- Interview prep in the chat for jobs you applied to: likely questions, what to highlight and questions to ask the interviewer.

Hireoo Pro Weekly — the plan Hireoo recommends to start with. ₹149 for 7 days, one payment, no auto-renewal (UPI or card through Razorpay, no autopay mandate). With the festive offer it is ₹99 right now. Everything included for the week:
- 25 job results a day (2.5× Starter)
- AI job search in the chat, with a fit score and reason for every match; fresh hiring posts every day, matched to your resume and preferences; jobs you already applied to never come back
- A cover letter and email for every job; auto-apply from your own Gmail, one job or a whole batch, sent in the background

When the week ends the account returns to Starter and you can buy another week or switch to monthly. One plan at a time: a new week or a monthly plan can be bought once the running one ends.

Hireoo Pro (monthly) — ₹499 a month, cancel anytime (paid through Razorpay with UPI Autopay or a card): everything in Pro Weekly, renewing each month until cancelled. During the festive offer a week costs less per day than a month (about ₹14 against ₹16–18); at ₹149 a week the monthly plan is the cheaper per day.

How the limit works: the daily limit counts job results — the jobs the agent finds and shows you — not applications. Applying is not capped separately; you can apply to any job you have been shown. Limits reset at midnight IST. When the day's results are used up, the agent stops bringing new jobs until midnight. Both plans use the same agent and the same sending.

Cancelling Pro: month to month with no lock-in; you keep Pro until the end of the billing cycle, then return to Starter with your searches, saved jobs and applications intact.

## Who it is for

Job seekers in India — freshers to experienced professionals — looking for roles at startups, MNCs and tech companies in Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Pune, or remote roles in India, who would rather send a personal email to the recruiter than fill in portal forms.

## What Hireoo does not do

- It does not read your inbox, track replies or send follow-ups.
- It does not fill in forms on job portals (Workday, Greenhouse, Lever and similar).
- It does not have a browser extension.
- It does not guarantee interviews, offers or response rates.
- It is not built for job searches outside India.

## The hidden job market

Recruiter surveys have long suggested that a large share of roles are filled without ever being advertised on public job boards (estimates vary by study), through referrals and direct contact with recruiters. Hireoo's approach — finding fresh hiring posts, pulling out the recruiter's email and sending a personalised application from your own Gmail — puts you in direct contact with the person hiring rather than in a portal queue.
